I am an artist working in Ahmedabad, INDIA for many years. I like to depict my own imagination display human feeling dipped in oil colours on canvas. My canvas shows subjective, sensible & traditional, classical Indian art. I have done 14 solo & more than 25 groupshows in all over India. I am a born artist, having master degree in commerce. I have never seen the inside of an art school, but I learn paintings & graphics from my guru-eminent graphic designer Ramesh Halari. I am also awarded 5 times from various educational, social, professional & well known NGO. My paintings became a book-cover of various novels &periodicals (approx 25 times), also my paintings highlighted in calenders(2 times).
My artwork can be defined as contemporary art & it involves from figurative to abstract painting. Bymeans of my artworks, I wish to achieve an increased inner peace & creativitythroughout time. In general, I use canvas to perform them. Subjects that inspire
me arise from my desire to paint flowers, sun, spiritual things, woman and subjects that speak about the inner life & about the celebration of love. My paintings represent my world and my personal circumstances, internal life experiences, life situations I have to face, moments that I wish to capture in the memory, thoughts that I want to transmit to other people. All the above reflected by means of my painting techniques in colours that express my emotions and state of soul.
Subjects arise from everything especially "Woman" touches me. A colour
makes my sensitivity vibrate, enchanted sun, flowers, spiritual, a gesture, a
smile, joy & pain. Subjects just come to me either from the exterior or interior
reality, as a starting point of creation. All this, considered from my spirituality, in
my way with the vision and emotion of my feelings and thoughts. I started from
figurative painting and at present I am fully satisfied with abstraction, where I
feel I can express myself with more freedom.
I try to convey an optimistic message through my art and reflect the love for life
and nature that I feel.
